This cheese is manufactured by Snowdonia Cheese Company and it’s the third time that this black wax covered cheese has been crowned as the best possible cheese according to The Guild of Fine Food’s Best Brands Survey.

This cheddar cheese is loved for all the right reasons as it has a delicious moreish flavor and has very last depth when consumed with its best companion i.e. Chardonnay or Cabernet Sauvignon. Its price starts from £4.50 and goes way above as per the brand, age and weight of the cheese. Black Bomber has won various other awards including Nantwich International Cheese Awards, the Great British Cheese Awards, a Super Gold at Mondial Fromage in France and the World Cheese Awards.

This year was also no less when it comes to Welsh Cheeses and their flavors. The best Red Leicester in the World award was named to Red Leicester cheese that is made with the milk from Welsh Cows on the Llyn Peninsula. South Caernarfon Creameries which is known as the oldest fairy farmers’ cooperative in Wales got the Gold at the most prestigious World Cheese Awards for the Red Leicester that they produce.  These are held at Norway.

This creamery also won Silver and Bronze gongs for its Extra Mature Cheddar, Medium Cheddar and Reduced Fat Cheddars. The total number of awards taken by this producer of cheese has now reached to 69. In the start of this year, Red Leicester was also made available in 20 kg blocks to the wholesale customers.
